Frequently asked questions
Straight answers.
Is security monitoring really 24/7?
Security monitoring is. On the Managed + Security plan, a security operations centre watches enrolled devices and covered systems around the clock and responds when something looks wrong. IT support is separate: real people, 9 AM to 9 PM, seven days a week.
Does every plan include the SOC?
No. The 24/7 security operations centre is part of Managed + Security. Essentials and Managed cover monitoring, patching, Microsoft 365 administration and support; monitored detection and response is added with the security tier. The Managed IT page compares all three.
Can we keep our current IT provider?
Sometimes. Security is built on top of the managed IT foundation, so it depends on who manages your devices today and what your current contract allows. That gets worked out in the free assessment, before anything is proposed.
Are software licences and equipment extra?
Yes. Hardware, software licences including Microsoft 365, and large projects such as server replacements or office moves are itemized separately in the written proposal. The monthly per-user number covers the agreed service only.
